WHAT TO DO FOR BLOGPOSTS

Hello! Let’s explore the journey of Uncle Tom!!!!!!!
What to write for a blogpost:

  • Topics:  State the topic then write a paragraph which explains why this topic is important to discuss with your novel's plot
  • Theme: State a universal theme, then write a paragraph which explains this theme in connection to the plot
  • Rhetorical Analysis: Using the information from FACESLAPPED, write a one-two paragraph analysis of these pages.

Fallacies-An incorrect argument in logic and rhetoric which undermines an argument's logical validity or more generally an argument's logical soundness.
Assumptions-The act of taking for granted: assumption of a false theory. Something taken for granted or accepted as true without proof; a supposition: a valid assumption
Claim-What is the author stating to be true, with their support?
Evidence- Concrete detail of the evidence found in the claim
So What?- Why does the author present this idea? Is it relatable to today?
Logos- Logical reasoning based on facts, statistics, etc.
Audience- Who are the intended readers of this written work?
Purpose- Why does the author write this? What/Who is benefitted? And Why?
Pathos- Emotional appeal in the writing
Ethos-Ethical morals and appeals of the author, and/or characters in the written work
Diction- What is the style of writing? How does the choice of words frame the purpose and significance of the novel?
